MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song in 2017. His debut album was a long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he sang an duet with TINI's popular single Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo came from a family of musicians his mother and older brother are musicians. He has said in interviews that music is a must. He learned how to play guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was a young child. Though his original career plan was to be an animal veterinarian His brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with the Cuban. The lessons transformed his life forever.
